Affiliate Disclosure
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you use one and go on to buy something, we may be paid a commission by that company, at no additional cost to you. That is how this site is funded.
Which links
Affiliate links appear in clearly marked cards, set apart from the page’s own text, and each card carries the disclosure inside it rather than only at the bottom of the page. They point at commercial services a reader might plausibly want at that point in the process — business formation, exam preparation, insurance — and never at anything that has to be filed with the Board.
Nothing that points you at an official source — the statutes, the administrative code, or the Nevada State Contractors Board — is ever an affiliate link, and none of it pays us anything. Where those sources are cited by section rather than linked, that is not a commercial choice either: a section number is the locator, and it goes to the same place a link would.
The rule that matters
A commercial relationship never changes what a page says a rule is.
Every regulatory statement here is checked against a primary, official source and cited, and that process runs independently of whether anything on the page pays us. A card is placed where the content has already reached the point the offer serves — not before, to manufacture a reason for it. Some pages carry no card at all because an offer there would contradict the page’s own advice, and we would rather earn nothing on those pages than do that.
We also do not present a single company as a marketplace. Where a card names one provider, it names that provider.
What we are not
We are not affiliated with the Nevada State Contractors Board or any state agency, and no company we link to pays for editorial coverage or influences what a page states. If a partner’s service and a rule ever appear to disagree on this site, the rule is what we will fix — please tell us.
